Part of the interior of St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cathedral in Manhattan, New York, USA.
St Patrick’s Cathedral was designed by James Renwick Jr, and completed, in decorated Neo-Gothic / Gothic revival style, in 1858, and extensively restored from 2012-2015. In 2017, the cathedral had a geothermal system involved, believed to be the largest in New York City.
The Cathedral is located in Midtown Manhattan, between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue. It is a city landmark, the seat of the Archbishop of the diocese of New York as well as functioning as a parish church.
