BBC Pacific Quay Glasgow

The BBC television and radio studio complex on Pacific Quay on the south bank of the River Clyde in central Glasgow, Scotland.

The BBC Scotland headquarters was opened in 2007 and designed to be an integral part of the ‘Innovation Quarter’. It is located next to the Science Centre.

Designed by David Chipperfield Architects, the building’s materials were chosen to reference Glasgow’s industrial heritage – sandstone, concrete and exposed pipes.

BBC Pacific Quay hosts BBC Scotland’s television, radio and online outputs and acts as a hub linking all the other BBC centres around Scotland.
