Snowdrops are one of the first flowers to bloom at the end of winter, and are a very welcome sight. They can form large carpets of flowers in their preferred conditions, but they can be picky about where they will grow.
Snowdrop bulbs are reputed to increase according to the Fibonacci series, but I’ve never got round to checking that. Certainly, when they’re happy, they will increase into beautiful drifts.
