Namibia Home <- Etosha <- Jackals
Like Greater Kudus, Black-backed Jackals seem much less likely to run away with the approach of a vehicle than they do in East Africa.
They even wander through the rest camps, but there are notices around the camp warning that they are a main source of rabies.
|The nominate race of Black-backed Jackals found in Southern Africa (C.m.mesomalas) are a different sub-species to those found in East Africa (C.m.schmidti)|
