Namibia Home <- Etosha <- Elephants
It is easiest to view elephants in Etosha at waterholes, but we came upon this big bull elephant quite a distance from any waterhole.
|This pic is one of the very few more-or-less full frame pictures I have on the site from Etosha.|
|When we visited in early July, we found most animals at the Andoni waterhole, contrary to the information in the guidebook which says that Andoni is usually lacking in wildlife. Just goes to prove that you really have to check out all the waterholes, since local conditions can, and do, change.|
|The elephants came in to the waterhole, drank and dusted, then left again.
